Welcome to our web site which is dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes and most importantly Andrew. It is our dream to find a cure for Andrew and all the other children and adults who suffer form Type 1 Diabetes. I want to let everyone know that they are not alone in their daily fight against this serious but controllable disease. Our families goal is to keep Andrew healthy with good blood sugar control so when a cure is available he will be able to enter adulthood with a healthy body. Yes we said when he enters adulthood because we believe that a cure is just around the corner.
Our goal of this web site is to direct families and individuals’ with type 1 diabetes to related online resources that will help with coping and treatment. Of course this site was also created educate our friends and family about diabetes and to help raise money for our yearly walk to cure diabetes. All proceeds go directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Below are two links you can follow to help Andrew and his walk team.
